1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using bins360.org ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
bins360 provides a Bank Identification Number (BIN) and Issuer Identification Number (IIN) lookup tool. The Service allows users to retrieve publicly available information associated with payment card prefixes, including card brand, issuing bank, card type, and country of issuance.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes, including:
- Payment fraud prevention and risk assessment
- Card acceptance and routing logic in payment systems
- Research and analysis for payments professionals
- Integration into your own payment processing workflows via the API
4. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, or any other illegal activity
- Attempt to reconstruct, reverse-engineer, or bulk-export our BIN database
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service or API without written permission
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms
- Use automated scraping tools against the free web interface
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
5. Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Data Accuracy
BIN/IIN data is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. bins360 makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Card networks and issuing banks may change their BIN assignments at any time. Do not rely solely on bins360 data for compliance or regulatory decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
The bins360 platform, including its software, compiled database, branding, and documentation, is the property of bins360 and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bins360 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
